What it covers
Once you’re registered, licensed providers must close or block your accounts, can’t open new accounts for you, and must stop sending you marketing for the period you choose. It covers online and phone wagering; it doesn’t cover in-person venues, which have their own exclusion programmes.
How long it lasts
You choose the exclusion period, from three months up to permanently.

Registration at betstop.gov.au takes a few minutes. You’ll need to verify your identity so the register can match you with provider accounts.
